About Dr. Catherine Loomis
Dr. Catherine Loomis is a licensed psychologist in the state of Wisconsin. She is one of two providers in the state to be certified in the field of Behavioral Sleep Medicine, and she practices exclusively in this field.
Dr. Loomis received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Maine in 1996. She completed her internship at the Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee. She practiced at Lutheran Social Services in Milwaukee and Rogers Memorial Hospital in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. She became interested in treating sleep disorders in 2006, and in 2007, she received a mini-fellowship sponsored by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, which involved training at the New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York, New York. She received her certification in Behavioral Sleep Medicine in 2010. Dr. Loomis served on the board of the Wisconsin Psychological Association from 2004-2013, and was president of the organization from 2010-2011.
